Dyckia ferruginea (rusty)



Dyckia ferruginea
It grows in Mato Grosso wilderness, in Brazil.
Thisis a big one not among the biggest ones but it is far away from the little sized ones.
Meanwhile it is a super beautiful one.

 
 The word ferruginea means: rusty, wheezy, smutty...
as you can see above it refers to the tegument that covers
the flower stalk and
buds.
