Dyckia species Distachya affinis

Found in one single spot  in Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul  border this is a new Dyckia species.
During the longest days of Summer it gets solely reddish.
Reproduces avidly by stolons.In nature it forms big balls on rocks that resemble ant nests.
This is a reofitic species, grows close to running white waters.
