Dyckia sp Lagoão may be deep reddish all over. It´s spines are light pink to cream
and always very conspicuous.
The plant lives on rocky slopes in nature.
These are all seedlings from nature collected seeds.
Seeds are the best choice when nature talking. An adult wild plant may take years to get used to cultivation conditions and a seedling adapts itself promptly.
In nature seedlings are always a rarity as the vast majority of the seeds produced are wasted as they ask for very precise requirements to thrive and prosper.
A seed hardly finds the proper grounds and the correct humidity and protection to go on.
