Dyckia dom felicianensis

Comes from a coal mining area and faces some major enemies:
The Pinus and Eucalyptus and Acacia plantation plus mining
and locals who remove the plants and dump them in the lake to eliminate the
spiny pest. They say the plant injures the animals and the children.
They say the only way to eliminate the pest is to dump them in the water,
the fire causes no harm to them.
Sad history. This is one rare plant.
