Dyckia brevifolia is a bold lover

Since long ago Dyckia brevifolia has being used for hybridizing. Its shape is always a top mark, round and spherical its rosette is incomparable. Its leaves are broad, short and very succulent. Also its yellow flowers add to the beauty of any cross.
Out of my country and also here this plant was so much hybridized it turned to be extremely rare to set eyes on a pure Dyckia brevifolia.
This plant is abundant on the rocky river banks of Vale do Itajaí, from Rio do Sul, up stream Itajaí River to Blumenau down stream a hundreds kilometers.
