I love hybrids and favor them.
They are far too common in nature and many Dyckia species are in fact hybrids.
The fact we do not find nor know the parent plants doesn´t mean it is not a hybrid.
Dyckias are always prune and eager to hybridize .
Here I mixed a South native one to a much norther one. The result is something never once saw.
Dyckia seeds surprise us all even the self fertilized ones. Dyckias, all of them come from one single primary plant and their DNA carries many, many, many information an enable these planst to respond to the challenges and variations in their environment.
