Dyckia hb Mercury X Dyckia fosteriana var. Sengés sowed on Mars 13th this year.
Seeds, all germinated and many suffered fungi attack. I should have sterilized the substrate.
Many seeds means bigger opportunity of getting something super hot from there.
Sees are all miraculous.
Dyckia brevifolia dense mass of plants
This huge mass of brevifolia is all the very same plant. This is the result of head division and a typical way Dyckias have to duplicate themselves. They are all identical twins and have the very same DNA.
The original plant was, found by my mother, freed from the rock it lived on by a huge flood in Rio Itajaí river at he beginning of 70 years last century.
Bellow we see Dyckia brevifolia var. subidensis I collected in early 90 years.
Seeds are all and each a miracle. They guard evoluted beings. From seeds come novelties, plants fresh and new to our eyes.
Another point, I praise huge pots for Dyckias. Brevifolias do not do this in tiny black plastic pots.
Dyckias as every being on Earth need freedom to show beauty

Dyckia pampeana, the smallest Dyckia species of all
It reproduces by stolons so the plants in one colony are all the very same,
It blooms too and produces seeds but this proved to be rare when under cultivation

The bigeneric seedling today. Enchodyckia Tetéia
Like says that old song:
"Que sera, sera, whatever will be will be
The future is not ours to see
What will be will be."
This is a seedling, a Dyckia delicata one
This does looks lice a Dyckia pseudodelicata seedling but I never saw one, not up to now as my pseudodelicatas did not bloom yet.
The father plant is not determinated but guessed as this is a stray seedling;
Do you believe all Dyckia species are species? Let me tell you without willing to convince you, the immense Dyckia species are in fact hybrids. The parent plant may no long exist but the one left is a hybrid.
Botanic adores law, rules but nature does not have drawers
Dyckia pseudodelicata lives in nture amid several other Dyckias and many of those are hybrids, natural ones.
Do you dare to compre? Here down the seedling we are showing and a Dyckia pseudodelicata as companion. They share the very same Vietnamese large enameled ceramic beige colored bowl:
Dyckia hb Mercury and garden company
Dyckias are superb plants and they coexist fantastically happy in the garden.
Here we also see some juvenile Dyckia goehringii hybrids
A garden may be a fantasy, a painting like one, something to breath take you, to starry eye you.I do like this picture, it does so.
