Named honoring the famous last century Brazilian botanist and catholic father
This species is native to Rio Grande do Sul and it is a reophytic one.
Flower stalks and runners all lend to this plant a weird look.
When one comes to the conclusion there is nothing left to be seen.....here comes a totally new
one Dyckia species and new behavior.
