A close Dyckia reitzii related one.
This founding is a weird one and it was thanks to.. to a urgent need to pee....
Walter Kranz and Clenilson Souza came from up north in Paraná to visit me here in Joinville, santa catarina and we decided to go together bound to South. I wantede to take them to the hebdingii fields and delicata hills in Rio Grande do Sul....
We left Joinville and went down South by the sea coast and well South in Santa Catarina we visited Praia Grande ( father Reitz the botanist lived there) and climbed up to the Santa Cantarina and Rio Grande do Sul highhills. We took a dust road climbing up to 1600meters and found some interesting Dyckias on our way up. all of a sudden Walter got an urge to pee, we stopped and in less than a minute Walter was yelling, "I found something odd here". We were on the top of the mountain that separates Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul. Cold!Clenilson and i were there from where the cry came in a blink of an eye.
We saw amid the grasses and on the old disrupting rock some of these marvel. They were just a few.
Some intriguingly white and looking close to reitzii.
Maybe we found a brand new species...we are about to find it out.
