Dyckia encholirioides var. spinosissima

 Dyckia encholirioides var. spinosissima

Here Rene Rau a friend of mine and neighbour  doing the necessary cleaning.
More than  a friend, a brave man.

Cleaning a Dyckia sometimes require, knowledge, skills, courage and a bit of boldness.

  1. Seeing the metal bar, that the trunk is resting on, gave me a great idea. I have a big Aloe ferox that needs support, and a decorative welded 3/4 circle (with an open end to allow application) could work and also add visual interest. I love the look of rusted iron. Thanks for the photos and the info about the need for FRESH seed.
