Yes, this is a Dyckia hebdingii



Dyckia hebdingii, yes and indeed!
I myself collected it.

Why so different looking?
Dyckia! This is the answer!
Dyckia are saying farewell, their time is close to an end, their role is done.
Dyckias are intriguing and can say and reveal many things to us all.

This may be an evolution or simply an answer hebdingii has in their sleeves  or leaves, in order to survive and deal with a problem as temperature changing and so on.
Fact is this is a stunning beautiful one, isn´t it?
