Dyckia braunii seed pods

Hand pollinated and well controlled seed pods.
Dyckia braunii comes from a very hot region in Central Brazil and here in the mild climates of south in Brazil  the seed pods take ages to mature and get ready.
If the flowers are left in their own devices to produce seeds one can get empty handed.
Dyckia reitzii got their flowers later than braunii and reitzii seeds were harvested two weeks before from now.
