Dyckia discoides, species under description..

Amazing beautiful.
Magnifica or discoides?
All odds re for magnifica!

This beauty  is native to Santa Catarina  SW uphills. This means it is able to stand to cold temperatures.
Nothing to envy a polar bear but enough to freeze.
Notice it is initiating a bloom stalk, see the green bractea.
This plant is one of the Dyckia hb Liz Taylor parents.
This plant belongs to the  group of the ancient Dyckias.
This group consist of plants native to North in Rio Grande do Sul and South in Santa Catarina.
