Dyckia pampeana is native to the extreme southern part of Brazil.It is very prolific and forms a carpet like cover. It is a stoloniferous plant and reproduces avidly. Meanwhile it was almost exterminated by the intense sheep farming in its natural habitat area.
Here I show it emiting its flowers stalk, a slender short one due the strong winds in its area.
