Encholiriuns are all solely Brazilian plants. They are not found anywhere else in the world.
They are restricted to central east and northeast regions in Brazil. Some are wide spread with its area and some have a very restricted area. Some are huge plants and some are amid the smallest bromeliads. This we see here is not yet described and it is pure white. Its scales are so tiny the whole plant shines under the sun. Encholiriuns are very close related to Dyckias and they cross in between them making fascinating bigeneric hybrids. I am looking for a Dyckia goehring and this beauty to get together in order to make hybrid plants.
