Dyckia dawsonii...or the closest to it.
People who first saw it in nature though the world would come in  hordes to take this plant from the wilderness and so they did not revealed the exact location of its occurrence. Exactly as the old cacti and orchids searchers did during  the historic German X England Botany..it was most a matter of spotting a plant first than the plant or any scientific detail...
Conclusion: no one has ever seen dawsonii in nature but the bushman who send it to the "scientist". Is it possible to credit blindly a science like this?
No way! I do not!
