Sincoraeas are nice companion to Dyckias
Once it belonged to the genus Orthophytum, Sincoraeas are just found in wilderness in Brazil. These are Brazilian beauties no doubt. They are cultivated as Dyckias are and most of the time they are drab-looking plants but huge transformation takes place at blooming time.
This is Sincoraea navioides.

Xanthic Dyckia delicata seedling
Some Dyckias as Dyckia encholirioides, Dyckia brevifolia can show yellow genes and present a marvelous xanthic form. Dyckia delicatas and Dyckia gastaldiana are showing it too.
Xanthic forms are strikingly beautiful.
These xanthic forms are well showy during Summer months. Strong light triggers the awaking of this gene. This is not an effect induced by the strong light only, plants without this genetics won´t show any golden no matter the ligth they get.
