it comes from the Gaucho Dyckia Triangle Complex.
Grows quite close to Dyckia ebdingii and Dyckia domfelicanensis.
They are clearly affinis or close related species.
A best description for this one here is . It is a huge Dyckia hebdingii.
Dyckia complexes, we have three in Brazil, need to be studied as a whole and not just
pieces of them. This Gaucho Complex comprises more than ten known Dyckia species.
