This plant comes from Praia do Erwino (Erwino´s Beach) Northeast Santa Catarina.
It is a most spined variety and also a smaller one.
This makes this one of the most spectacular Dyckia.
Grows on sand close to the Atlantic Sea.
It gets sea salt water spray and belongs to a very special
kind of vegetation The Restinga Forest.
