Dyckia sp - Boqueirão do Leão - RS



This is a true southern beauty.
There is nothing written about this baby here, not a line.
The spot where this plant grows would do great as scenery for a
a kind of Raiders of the Lost Arch film.



These two plants are seedling from seeds that felt from the
high stone cliff and germinated into a stone fissure right on the dried river bed
below. Certainly the white running waters would kill the plantlets during next rain.
The adult plants were unreachable well high on vertical granitic wall.
