Dyckia Mundo a scented gift

Dyckia Mundo

One of my favorites made by myself Dyckias.
Dyckia marnier-lapostollei from Bahia and Dyckia brevifolia
Ribeirão do Cocho got together and got scented flowers.

Scented flowers is not a novelty in Dyckias, many may produce a light, mild scent and some not pleasant as the plant. This hybrid exudes perfume. When one touches the flowers stalk perfume gets in the air. This is a plus.
Dyckia marnier-lapostollei can not be cultivated here under open skies. Joinville is too humid. The Cerrado, whre marnier lives, in certain time of the year we have air humidity far below the one of the desert and gets even below 15%. This is dangerous to human life.
Dyckia brevifolia loves this high degree of humidity here in Joinville and in this hybrid Dyckia brevifolia love for humidity turns obvious as the plant is cultivates under open skies.
