Dyckia companion: Hechtia marnier-lapostollei

Hechtia marnier lapostollei is a unique plant.
It stants far beyond beautiful.
It is very a harsh plant to touch.
It is a small Hechtia and very easy to be cultivated.
Avoid the heavy rain and it will look good while not in bloom.

This is also another cursed bromeliad.
The malediction is the folowing:
You will be beautiful and desirable
but you will rot soon after blooming... than you will be obliged to start everything over
and you will bloom again and once more you will rot!
This spell is the bloom and rot bromeliad curse.
Dyckias were preserved from this. They bloom and bloom through decades and decades.
Here it was seen a Dyckia encholirioides with more than 600 years old.
the some meters long trunk was preserves under dry fine sand.
The crown was beautifully blooming as the plant was a vigorous young one.
