
The smaller one in front is a rubra form of Dyckia delicata.
Of course, they are species!
They have a hard time in order to produce viable seeds.
I did not find what is going on with this species but something
weird is happening somewhere here with them.
They are self fertile but not that fertile. There in the field I found many seeds once, none germinated. I produced thousands seed and a fraction was fertile.
Even thought I manage to germinate some thousands, ok.
I guess the viable fertile seed rate in well controlled seed production is one out of a hundred.
