Dyckia catharinensis

Dyckia catharinensis

Yes true species. Extremely rare.
Grows in the half Southern part of a sea island in Santa Catarina.
One of the very first Dyckias to be catalogued by science.

This is a big not huge Dyckia and researches have a hard time trying to find it
in nature. It seems to have been vanished in most of its habitat by
human plans for resorts and so on.
The rare turned even rarer.
Flowers are yellow, light yellow, big and beautiful.
Note the weak silver dust all over the plant.
