Narrow stiff ribbons tied together ....



This superb Dyckia looks like those Agaves like A. stricta only better.
It also remembers a Dasylirium quadrifolium but better yet.

Santa Catarina native.

Deep red Port wine and silver, could it be a bit better?



This plant is as rare as that Dodo egg shell
in the British Museum of Natural History.
But......alive.
Still unnamed!
Here I propose: Dyckia stricta

  1. Yes this is one of my dreams, white backs and upright leaves! I hope you cross it with something to make a jet black glossy upper surface and next generation breed back to get the white underside...Grand!
