BRAND NEW DYCKIA SPECIES FROM SANTA CATARINA NORTHEASTERN UPHILLS



Yes, they are species!
They are impressive.
Dark red colored or the rubra form is mostly attractive.



The under leaves are of a striking copper patina
contrasting beautifully with the upper dark leaf color.



Here you see the green one.
The coin is the one of a One Euro Cent.
You can have a good idea of the size of the plant.
All adult plants.



If you enlarge this pic you will notice old leftovers
of flower spikes and the plant preparing new flower stems.
The center of the rosettes reveals the growing area and this is green.
Here they are under light rain.
