Dish of Dyckias
Here you see a nice Dyckia hebdingii, some Dyckia fosteriana and
several Dyckia brevifolia var. Ribeirão do Cocho.
This look is closer to a Dyckia habitat one can get.
In nature substrate is continually being restored so from time to time you have to
to restore the substrate. Here in this case it is a simple act.
Just lift everything, the dish will be left empty, fill it with substrate and than get everything back again. Not a piece is get lost as the root system of the plants keep the set well tied together, plants and rocks nothing is disturbed with this substrate restoring.
