Dyckias Mundo
Both species evolved in the process of making this beautiful hybrid blended in each other perfectly. This resulted in a vigorous and good looking plant.
You may see the marnier and the brevifolia traces everywhere you look in the plant.

This precious gem is clearly showing its bloom stick in the very begining. What color will it be? Will the flowers be yellow as those of the brevifolia or will they be pale orange or red? My bit is for orange the Bahia marnier strain used here
This hybrid was made with the aid of a very small paintbrush on May, the first, 2007. The seeds were sewed on October, the first, five months after being the marnier flowers pollinated with brevifolia pollen. Almost two years after that the seedlings begin to bloom, to make their own floweres. They are flowering in our autumn as the marniers do. Dyckia brevifolias flower in spring time. This hybrid is very interesting ´cause the two plants used as parents are all species and collected specimens. There are some variations among these seedlings. Let us take a close look at some of them. Remember you can click on the pictures in order not to miss a single detail.
