Living together...growing together...

This is a huge shallow basin ( one meter wide mouthed) is an old
one recovered from a disposed construction material site.
Here you can do whatever comes into your mind but the idea is to
duplicate some nature Dyckia landscape.
This is gardening in restricted areas.
Every one can do it and do better yet.
It is funny to wander in search of materials for this enjoyable gardening.
Do not forget drainage, vital to your plants health.
Cover the substrate with pebbles, sand or gravel to protect it from being removed by the rain and burned by the sun.
The red wide leaved plant in the background is an Orthophytum, a nice Dyckia companion.
Try not to level the substrate to the container border. Make it higher and irregular, Dyckias will love it ´cause it gets much more aerated and even more drainable not to mention they will be much more conspicuous.
