Dyckia sp distachya affinis rubra
This is a not yet described plant native to the border of SantaCatarina and Rio Grande do Sul.
It is a extremely stoloniferous plant and very fast propagating.
Reophyitic, it lives on rocks surrounded by a fast running water mountain river.
Forms huge clumps that look like ant nests at distance.
I gave some young plants to "friends" in visit to my garden three years ago and all of a sudden the plant
appeared in Southeast Asia.
the plant does has spines but you sense them easier than seeing than as they are no bigger that this final dot here.
