Dyckia brevifolia subidensis or Dyckia brevifolia var. Salto Pilão-SC?
Notice the yellowish flower stem.
These are all collected in wilderness plants.
The petals are darker than the light yellow ones of the type plant brevifolia
These are pale yellow plants and smaller than the type for ones.
Name is not valid yet as the plant is under description.
I do believe the cultivar Yellow Glow derives from one of these plants.
This plant went into Germany before the Second World War. It lives just a half a dozen kilometers form Ibirama at that time Neu Statin, a Germanic gracious town where German is the main language up today
among the oldest people.
From Germany this plant found its way into California....
I do not know if this is already kept there in the the milk and honey land.
