Ashes from an Andean volcano fell on my plants this night.
Volcano ashes are good fertilizers and the Puyehue emitted its ashes
from the Pacific to the Atlantic coast.
Yesterday the day was strangely cloudy, it seemed it would rain any moment. Out mountains were
not visible all the day long. During the night water and ashes were dropped all over.
As the rain continued it washed the ashes away but some stayed to be see when it dawned.
This is the first time we here saw this. We have no earthquakes, no volcanoes ant this is much too to strange to us here. Certainly my plants will relish this Chilean ashes.
This here shown is a Dyckia protection for the rain.
