Dyckia garden Spring fever

It is the end of Winter here.
It is less tahn a month for the Spring to come but Dyckias
are in full spring fever.
No, these seeds won´t harvested ´cause we do not know who is who in such situation.
The seeds would result in beautiful hybrids but we would never now the father.
This mistake is far too common and people collect seeds from a Dyckia fosteriana flowers stem and say this is Dyckia fosteriana seeds, Yes they are but who is the father?
Dyckias are extreme easy goers!
Another Winter concern you can easily see here.
High humidity promotes fungi growth on the walls, on the roofs and on Dyckias too.
Dyckias are lifted from the ground here pot by pot to favor ventilation.
Ventilation is the most effective weapon against fungi.
I avoid those anti-fungi systemic venomous substances. I live close to a luxuriant
tropical rain forest. Its habitants visit my garden and this would be not fair.
My garden would be graceless without the butterflies, birds, bees... they are welcome.
So I keep fungi at bay with good ventilation and some help of less dangerous to ambient products.
