Dyckia splendens
In my opinion this is one of the most dazzling Brazilian Dyckias.
It is native not to our Central Cerrado area but it is a
Santa Catarina native plant, a Southern baby.
Here it shows the first signals of blooming.
Something to celebrate, no doubt, as the plant is ultra rare
and extremely hard to find.
The name is a suggestion.
