Dyckia marnier-lapostollei

Dyckia marnier-lapostolei

Yes! Species and collected. This is the rare big one marnier-lapostolei
from up North Goiás.
Here it is damaged by heavy rains that removes several times its coarse solver scales up
to the point of no recover and most of the plant is nude.
This plant must be removed to a protected sunny area.
Blooms in May with red flowers and a lightly racemous flower stem.
Its fruits are big and take ages to ripe ( 3 to six months) ´cause here in South it takes the winter or the whole winter to get ready seeds.
