This small pugnacious beauty was collected by the Argentinian friend Diego Coringrato in Paraguay around 2002. It is the beauty and the beast altogether in a very same plant.
Its spines are able to penetrate your skin with just a mild touch. They are designed to get you.
I know nothing more terrible amid our spiny beauties.
This tiny little plants tend to be bi colored, whole green or yellowish. Here I show two very yellowish ones.
Flowers are yellow and they are sparse on the flower stalk.
