This plant was supposed to be a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei regional variety.
The plant is quite a giant as its crown can get to almost 80cm across.
This magnificent plant may be a brand new Dyckia species and not just a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei affinis. Its flowers are red and attached to a long slightly racemous flower spike. Also the flowers do not open fully.
