Some of the most beautiful Dyckia fosteriana  are truely stunning plants.
This plant here came up among hundreds of  fosteriana seedlings.
This is not a hybrid plant, this is a selected plant.
Selection is very rewarding when we deal with Dyckias.
It is always almost sure some nice surprises will appear amid hundreds
of the very same species seedlings.
In nature just a very few seeds develop and changes for a new look is very rare and when it does happen it is vanished by nature  at the very first chance.
We can make nature speed to many many generations ahead.
Some of the most impressing looks  come into view by selection and not by hybridation only.
This is a true Dyckia fosteriana species plant.
