This is another just by chance discovery.
This plant was found by a woman who is a cacti lover in Mato Grosso.
She showed her beloved cacti on the Internet and there it was a different looking Dyckia jus behind her plants in a very common picture.
She was looking for a Discocatus right close to where she lives and found theses plants and could not resist taking one home. Them she entered a cacti lovers Brazilian forum and showed the picture with a nice Discocactus and there in the backgrond was a very beautiful Dyckia still presenting problems derived from collecting.
This Dyckia species looks as a relative to Dyckia beateae but presents many differences.
We know quite nothing of this beauty. It is a case of wait and see.
But it all seems this is another born to be desired case.
