Dyckia marnier-lapostollei from up North Goiás

- It is wild!
- It is big! The biggest marnier form of all.
- It is impressive, no doubt!
- It is a rubra form. The red is not a reaction to anything.
The plant is red under the rich silver coating.
- The plant is damaged! These red areas are bald areas!
The continuous heavy rain exposing removed the silver coat. If the plant is kept under rain the plant reaches a point of no recovery and it will stay bald. The only coated areas will be those new and grown under protection.
Some prefer this wild look I´d rather this impressive creature to be well coated.
Yes, impressive indeed for this baby can get over 60 centimeters across! This is big!
