Dyckia speciosa is a true species from North eastern Santa Catarina.
It is already presented here but today it is under heavy rain. The reds get even more conspicuous.

It reminds of the Dyckia gloriosa but this is even redder, smaller, stiffer,
the under leaves are sole silver, the spines much more numerous that in
Dyckia gloriosa and bigger.
The leaves are edged by a fine silver line.
This species is always red and the green Dyckia speciosa was already spotted in
wilderness.
