First time shown this is a new Dyckia species from the highest point of Santa Catarina

This little Dyckia is a new found Santa Catarina Dyckia species

It is a mnountain dweller and found in an only one spot in Urubici - Santa Catarina.
Up there the lowest registered Brazilian temperature occured in June 1996.
This was as low as -18 degrees centigrades.
This plant is native to the Morro da Igreja, Urubici - Santa Catarina
There we may find another unknown Dyckia and much bigger than these one.
Thi small Dyckia is found at 1650 meters high almost on the very top of this mountain.
There we may have frozes even during Summer nights. The plant is much more silver than here and the spines much more evident.
Rare, unnamed and very beautiful plant.
I am very excited about this plant here and I thing it is going to be a very pleasing surprise.
