Dyckia stolonifera...yes, species!

Dyckia stolonifera
Native to Mato Grosso do sul and as rare as living Dodo in nature as a new road
vanished them from Earth...no more than two or three specimen were found there.

Meanwhile the plant was found under cultivation in Rio Grade do Sul.
People say it was brought there by Raulino Reitz the same
time he sent  some Dyckia coximensis to USA.
If it wasn´t this  we could never see those plants alive.
Dyckia stolonifera is really  a very stoloniferous plant.
..and it is extremely sensitive to temperatures to high and continuous and endless summertimes.
It won´t survive the continuous heat of the tropics. It need a resting time with some frosts!
