Dyckia lindelvaldeae

Dyckia lindelvaldeae
As all non self fertile Dyckia this is  a very hard to find plant outside Brazil.( Here too, it is not found on any nursery.)  Two same species non
related plants are needed to produce true seeds andpeople rely on off shoots to make new plants.
Tissue culturing have been made generating an army of the very same plant. Thus seeds will continue to be extremely scarse as tissue culturing reveals always the very same genetc aparatus and auto uncompatible plants.
In nature this plant is umbelievable white. Thrives almost on the nude rock with just  a thin layer of substrate.
Its floweres are scented but not perfumed as it really stinks, maybe to attract mops during the night avoiding the heat of the day.
