A bit about Dyckia flowers

Dyckia fowers can be seen in all shades of yellow, red, orange, red wine and almost black as in Dyckia tenebrosa. Here we can se Dyckia rondonopolitana flowers.Note they do not open fully and this indicates the plant grows in a very dry environment. these flowers are almost iridescent and very colorful, also de stem is full of colors. Dyckia rondonopolitana flowers and flower stalk seem to shine.

The plant must do all they can in order to attract pollinators as soon as possible for the flowers dry fast and easily in a harsh environment.

This is a rare Dyckia tenebrosa related Dyckia sp flower.

It also does not  fully open its flowers.
