No, not a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei but a Dyckia marnier-lapostollei affinis.

It is also native to the very same  ample region Dyckia marnier-lapostollei thrives in wilderness.
We are  still to know most of our Dyckia species as Dyckias up to now have been side findings...
The main goal has been cacti, orchids....



This plant is an imposing one. Now getting in the mood for blooming...
