Dyckia fosteriana nivosa
A small plant and a recent finding in Paraná, South in Brazil.
It was found close the the small and historical town of Lapa amid a fig plantation.
Dyckias tend to duplicate heads and we call it mirror effect and some plants just split head in
many more they just two. Here´s a five headed plant. This ain´t for nothing!
The heads get inclined to avoid water collecting in their centers and
this way keeping fungus at bay...
This green fosteriana nivosa is a jewel, a living one.
