Dyckia reitzii
Native to Santa Catarina this Dyckia needs cold to survive!!!
It will perish if cultivated under an endless Summertime condition.
Found on the highest Santa Catarina mountains it is used to snow and very hard frosts.
It takes temperatures well below freezing and temperatures as low as -19 Centigrades
were registred up there where it happly lives.
It is happy this winter in Joinville as it took several mild frosts.
Look, it will bloom!
