Dyckia delicata rubra
Tese plants are among the most desired xeric bromeliads in the world
and also amid the most beautiful ones.
Tehy are native to the southern most Brazilian State and it is a mountain dweller.
This plant not just stants some mild frosts but need them to prosper fine and
compacted. People use to imagine Brazil as a vast tropical forest and it is not.
We experiment cold and long winters here in the South and some of the most beautiful
Brazilian Dyckias are native the southern mountains where it may get really cold.
Dyckia reitzii experiment temperatures down to -20 Centigrades!
