Dyckia sp from Lagoão region in Rio Grande do Sul

Contrasting big spines and vibrant colors this is  a plant to catch any eyes. The plant you see here is a young seedling. There is much to go ahead. This species is not a small one and may reach a considerable size.

Brazilian wilderness has much to show and we shall see many lovely and beautiful findings.
Dyckias that live high on vertical rocky cliffs or on top of moutains surrounded by tropical forests will come into scene in a brief future.
A tropical forest covered mountain is something hard to get to its top. Some takes days of walking or climbing amid almost impenetrable jungle.
A very meticulous logistic may be needed in many of these cases.
